Habitat

In India tigers inhabitant tropical moist evergreen forests ,tropical dry forests, for shelter the tigers would be in tall grass or an cave. A tiger habitat once covered a huge swath of grassland.Good tiger habitats in subtropical and temperate upland forests, in tropical moist deciduous forest are probably some of the most productive habitats for tigers

Hunting and Diet


Tigers are conivors so they eat meat. They try to get medium sized animals so they can eat it all . They like to eat water buffalo ,hogdeer ,wild boar ,hares, and other animals, their preditors are lepards, wolves, jackals, foxes, crocodilies, sloth bears ,and any other animals that are a threat to the tigers .

Grow and Develope

A male tiger will live 4 to 5 years of age ,a female will live for 3 to 4 years of age ,the weight of a adult tiger would be 240 to 500 Lbs. The for the tiger will grow with the tiger, and at the end the teeth will be piercing and large teeth.

Reproduce

Most young will be born in December to April,young have also been found in March, May, October and November. New born cubs weigh 780 to 1,600 g. they have a coat that is thick that a shield for 3 to 3.5 months ,1 to 4 cubs are born each year in tall grass a bus or a cave , at the to 2 to 3 they will slowly separate from the family once the family is split, the mother will go into heat again.

Respond to Environment

The tiger is a tiger that has a range of adaptations to make it easier for them ,one way there coat (sripes) is a thing they use to camoflage themselves in the jungle. They also have very good hearing and are able to pick up infrasound, witch enables them to hear at very long distances .They can see extroidenaly far to hunt and see other animals.

Water

For the tigers it is easy to get water because they live in a rainforest, to get water tigers will look for wet footprints that are wet or moist and try to hear a waterfall near by.

Air

All tigers breathe trough there nose or mouthe and they have a good sence of smell and can smell other animals very long ways to hunt and gat othher animals to eat
